USCPFA-MN Chapter Leadership at State Capitol Rally Against Hate

Minnesota USCPFA Chapter President Ralph Beha spoke at the #Stop Asian Hate Rally at the Minnesota State Capitol on Sunday, March 28, along with fellow Chapter Board Members Melody Zhou and Chen Zhou. The Rally, sponsored by over 30 organizations in Minnesota, commemorated the victims of the March 16 Atlanta murders, six of whom were Asian American women. The rally featured speakers from state government, including Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan and several legislators, numerous organizations representing many Asian-American communities in Minnesota, poetry reading, music performances, and commemorative dance and procession. It was an impressive gathering focused on the solidarity of the Asian-American communities in our state. We hope that it serves as a launching pad for a continuing drive, once we get past the constraints imposed by the pandemic, to eliminate bigotry and hate and the denigration and demonization of our Asian heritage communities wherever they are.  Click on the photo below for a video of Ralph Beha’s remarks; you can find Melody Zhou’s remarks here: https://youtu.be/6yL9PdYpulU and Chen Zhou’s remarks here: https://youtu.be/Z34YZJAhe5U
