On Sunday afternoon, February 18, the Minnesota Chapter of the USCFPA will hold a banquet at the Peking Garden Restaurant in St. Paul to welcome the Year of the Dragon, and to celebrate 2024 as the 50th Anniversary of the US-China Peoples Friendship Association. Both the National Organization and the Minnesota Chapter were founded in 1974, in the waning years of the Cultural Revolution, as early bridge builders between the peoples of the U.S. and the People’s Republic of China.
